Holy crap.... I'm sorry. I totally read your post incorrectly. (AKA I'm a retard)
I enjoy the industry (rehab). It pays well and I get to work mon-fri 40 hours a week. I get to leave my job and not worry about it when I'm at home night or over the weekends.
There is a lot of competition with other manufacturers because the means to get funding is very tight... if you do a good job and take pride in your name and your work, you are certain to be noticed and duly compensated.
Sorry again man.

The 3 statistics packages that I use are JMP (Jump), Crystal Ball, and my favorite, MiniTab.
What do you use?
That is some DAMN POWERFUL statistical theory with a high degree of applicability. From call center efficiency, to service time at Benigan's to failure modes of electronics, engines, whatever. When properly applied, or IF applied with the bean counters at the company of interest taking the extra efforts seriously. Which as you know some often don't. They'll save a dollar in the short term to make the quarterly OE's look good, only to see it pissed away over time due to CPQ.

Primary: Commissary at the Buffalo airport(we check in food, liquor supplies..deliver it to our 5 restaurants and 3 bars(soon to change, with the remodeling that's occurring)..and do various and sundry other stuff. It's never the same job 2 days in a row,and that's what I love about it. Plus, the job is very physical in nature.)
Secondary: Parking attendant at the Arena(on days that don't conflict with the airport,or emergencies)and cashier at Dunn Tire Park for Bisons games(ditto)-I've been with both jobs for over a decade.
