I just took my kids to the Magic Kingdom yesterday for the first time. My son is 7 and my daughter is 3. OMG - I have not been there in years myself, but I had the time of my life there yesterday!

Have any of you gone and what was your favorite ride?

Ours was the BuzzLight Year Ride....AWESOME!

My daughter was not tall enough to do Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain Railroad, or Splash Mountain....but we did everything else!

Disney World was fun for my smallest back then. (1992)

I also really enjoyed Sea World as well and I highly recommend it.

It's a fun place for little kids but if you don't want the responsibility of children I can appreciate your choice.

Have you ever visited either Disney World or Sea World as a child.

It's a great experience with kids.

For me Sea World if I had to choose just one.

I don't have kids yet because I'm not at that stage in my life.

Oh no, I'm sure they are fun parks to visit. Lots of cool rides and attractions to see.

For me, it's a matter of principle. Believe it not, disney movies, going to Disney World, etc. was a status symbol (both with my extended family and my schoolmates) when I was a kid and my family were never able to afford any of it.

pretty much the same for me I never went as a kid and we definitely couldn't take on the expense at the time.

after about 7 years of being married which puts me at 2 kids and a couple spare bucks we made the venture.

I did it for the kids but ended up having a pretty good time myself I must admit.

they have beer there. :D

Both my kids LOVE LOVE SEA WORLD - We have season passes there and Busch Gardens - We go all the time!

Their favorite is the Sea Lion and Otter Show!

I understand this sentiment, but they seem to be better the past few years with Bob Iger replacing Eisner.

Of course, Iger is an Ithaca College grad, so perhaps I'm biased. ;)

Born and raised in Fla, I've been to most major amusement parks...like Disney World, Sea World, Universal, Busch Gardens, etc...
IMO, the best park is Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. Their roller coasters are sick...but I heard that Dueling Dragons, my favorite roller coaster, is being replaced by a new Harry Potter themed ride, which sucks a fatty. They have The Hulk as well, which is great, but it's too short.
A close second, maybe even better than Universal now that I'm thinkin about it, would be Busch Gardens in Tampa...
I think they have like 6 or 7 roller coasters there...and the place is named BUSCH gardens for a reason...lots of beer...
But if you have little kids, like under 10 or whatever, Disney World is the place to go...
Sea World is OK if you're doin a 1 day thing...you can't really base a whole week around Sea World...
Universal Studios is pretty cool if you dont wanna do the kiddy stuff at Disney World and you dont wanna puke from the roller coasters...
Universal Studios is themed by movies and stuff...it's alright IMO...

and to get back on topic...
Space Mountain is the best at Magic Kingodom, while my favorite attraction is the countries thing at Epcot. The best thing to do there is to do the Countries Around the World (or whatever it's called), go to dinner at the restaurant in the Living Seas, then watch the fireworks from "Mexico"...pretty cool stuff...
I haven't been there since I was like 10...i miss it
And 1 more thing...
If u ever go to Epcot in the summer (which is retarded, but whatever), go to the Coca Cola exhibit with the ice tunnel...best AC in the world

I don't think they are replacing Dueling Dragons.
