Not sure how to do it, but we could sure use a poll to see if Sabre fans want to keep or trade Campbell. The only thing you ever hear from around the league is that the Sabre fans will go nuts if Buffalo gets rid of Campbell. I'm finding the exact opposite to be true. Every Sabre fan I speak to wants to get rid of Campbell because it can bring so much in return. It would be interesting to see what the poll numbers say.

If would love to keep him for 5 million or less, too bad that's very unlikely.

Yeah I think he knows. Thats why he put a question mark in the title and said in his post he didn't know how to do it.

i feel like what we could get for him would better this team than what we can do with him.

3rd on the team in scoring. 1st in assists. Had a beauty pass to spring Vanek on his 1st goal last night. Almost 20 more points that the Sabs 2nd leading scoring D-man. If he is traded, they are going to need to replace him with a more offensive D-man to try and make up some of the points lost.

It depends on the return is the best answer. Campbell can be replaced even from within if needed but his replacement player(s) need to contribute NOW and for the future. Send him out West for Kesler and Edler.

If you can't sign him then we should trade him and get something for him so we don't make the same mistake again.
