Mine was a Sabres game I went to with my Dad and his work buddies. The Sabres were playing the Flyers and we had seats on the glass. I was young probably about 13 or so and it was the most exciting thing I've ever gone to, the Sabres ended up winning that game too. I remember standing up in the isle and almost getting hit by a puck! lol

I went to my first concert there, I remember the smells and sights and all the cigarette lighters too. The old turnstile greeting everyone that came in, wow.

Good times. You will be sorely missed but never forgotten, thanks for the memories old friend...

I went to the Sabres / Devils playoff game by myself and actually sat with the scalper for all the overtimes untill Dave Hannan finally ended it.

I remember this one time when I was a kid when the Braves used to play at the AUD in the middle of a game I snuck up to the cat walk above those silly baffles that hung from the ceiling. Anyway I drop trow and I squatted over the hand rail of the cat walk and took a huge dump...unfortunately the crap burned up during reentry leaving nothing but a vapor trail. That experience initiated my lifelong interest in quantum physics.

I was at a Sabres / Flyers game in the 70's sitting in the oranges.

Late in the game the Flyers trailing by a goal, pulled their goalie and were on the attack trying to tie the game.

Don Luce stole the puck and as he skated down the ice getting closer to shooting the puck at the open net, two or three sticks and gloves came flying out onto the ice from the Flyers bench causing Luce to lose control of the puck and stumble before he got a chance to shoot the puck.

The Referee awarded Luce the goal.

I have never seen happen before or since.

I was at a Sabres/Canadians game in 1994 with some friends from my high school, Brad May, Rob Ray and Craig Muni all got in fights and we won something like 4-1 it was awesome. We sat up in the nosebleeds, but it was awesome. It was my 1st unsupervised sporting event I attended. I have actually never gone to a Sabres game in Buffalo that they lost. I have been to a couple road games we blew, but that's ancillary. :D

How can you sum up 25 years of fabulous memories?? I sat right next to the visiting team tunnel, and SO many things happened over the years. I saw Bobby Orr & Bobby Hull & Gordie Howe, and Gretzky & Lemieux, AND my favorite of ALL Gilbert Perrault!
I think the best game I ever saw was one of the Sabres vs. Soviet games (Red Army Team) & one of the Russian security guys gave me a pin that says CCCP on it. At the warmup, he kept saying "Which Korab???" Turns out the Ruskies were scared to death of him!! LOL!Some of the Sabres vs. Montreal games in those days were fabulous too! Hockey has changed too much for it ever to be as good as those days. With all the Euros, if we REALLY kept to a skating game like that, the Canadians would mostly be forced out of the game. Those skating games were GREAT though!
