Detroits' Dan Cleary to miss 6-8 weeks

Cleary will miss 6-8 weeks because of a broken jaw he suffered against Toronto. Cleary has 20G and 20A in 57 games this season.

"He's been playing real well for us," Lidstrom told the Detroit Free Press. "He is one of our key players on the power play on the second unit, and I think he's been coming along real well, hanging on to the puck and making plays.

It was a brutal shot and he is one of the Wings big guys after Datsuk and Zetteberg. This coupled with their recent skid could make them more open to trading for a big time forward at the deadline.
