I turned on computer, computer fires up, motherboard light is green, no beep (there is always 1 short beep after turning on computer...then it goes into the BIOS access screen), no friendly BIOS screen (can't access BIOS), no indicators...just fans whirling and a blank monitor.

No boot.

I think (and hope) my PSU just burned out or is too weak to fire up my mother board. (Like we've already trouble shot - thanks Merc!).

I could go unplugging everything but the motherboard but I do have a new PSU on the way from Newegg:

PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610 EPS12V EPS12V 610W Continuous @ 40°C Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, cUL, CE, CB, TUV
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703005

I'll check back after I receive it and install to see if this was the case.

...if not...I systematically start ordering parts to complete a new build.

I just tried rebooting the power supply again...

(unplug computer...hold power button in for 10 seconds - usually you will hear the PSU click, plug computer in and turn on)

...and it fired up.

Thank God I didn't start taking everything out of that computer. New PSU is finally on the way!

Is that back on the basement circuit? If not, I'd leave the thing off till the Silencer gets there as it sounds like that Smartpower is getting ready to really show you why it sucks. LOL.

Oh man...no this happened on the strong power supply (in the kitchen were I moved it)

But I'm so close to finishing this song!

That piece of shit PSU has to last me until Monday or Tuesday! I had such hopes for this weekend...maybe I'll just turn it on for a couple hours at a time...

...maybe it'll make it.

...or maybe it'll fry everything...damn it.

Back up what you have finished (remember the data corruptions from earlier) and give it a shot. Good luck and maybe the new PSU will get there tomorrow.
