And,not surprisingly, the topic of the Bisons switching parent clubs did come up.
A couple of things from the News' Mike Harrington on the matter...

And,Mike has his take(from a week or so ago)on the Jays possibly coming here...

While I think Mike Harrington is one of the best baseball writers anywhere. But I got to disagree on the Blue Jays coming here. Right now I got to think they have to be the front runner right now. I think the Mets will end up in Syracuse, ending the Jays run there. It does scare me that the Jays have had bad Triple A teams year after year, but lets be honest the Mets have had bad Triple A teams year after year. I think the Bisons would like to stay with a American League parent club. The Pirates would be the only other team I could see here, because of the connection with te Indians. But reading the articles on Wedge's speech it sounds like the Tribe is out of here.

If the jays do come here they had better run their triple-a team a lot differently than in syracuse or it will be two years and out. The Bisons brass will not put up with a major league franchise that doesn't care about their triple-a team which is why the Pirates were booted in the first place.
