One of the strangest streaks in college sports....Kansas had not lost to Kansas state at Kansas State in 24 years.

Before the season started, freshman phenom Michael Beasley (1st in the nation in rebounding and 4th in scoring) said something to the effect "we'll be them here, we'll beat them at KU and if we go to Africa, we'll beat them there too". Last week he kept it up, guaranteeing a victory.

Considering KU was 2nd in the country, and 20-0, hell of a boast.

He scored 25 tonight, and 2 other K-state Freshmen scored 20 and 22. KU"s probably one of the best defensive teams in the country too.

Incredible game.

Watch for these 2 around tourney time

Beasley is the type of player who could pull a Carmelo come Tourney time.

That was an amazing streak, no matter how bad K-State has been for KU to beat them at KSU 24 straight times is downright amazing.

it was a great game by Beasley and Walker. KU wasn't ready for that game.

As I told a few K-State fans today, enjoy the guy while you can, he's not going to be around next year.

But the cool thing about him last night...I didn't see him trash talking during the game. He never smiled until the end. He didn't have a facial expression of intensity...he just made it look like another night at the office.

K-State used to have a pretty good basketball program under Jack Hartman, and later with Lon Kruger. Then it kind of fell apart in the late 80s through the 90s.

No doubt beasley is gone, I'm sure K-State fans knew that going in.
