Like the finish or not, that was the first time in years that I was stunned and shocked all to hell.

Cena winning the RR was 100% unexpected.

I haven't ordered a PPV in 3 years, but decided to order this one because I love the Royal Rumble and I expected good things from the undercard. I can't even say how pleased I am with that decision, and I'm not even a John Cena FAN, per se!

The ending was amazing. I was a little disappointed with the undercard. I thought the Hardy/Orton match could have been so much more. And the Edge/Rey match was predictable. The Rumble was fantastic. I can't believe the WWE managed to keep Cena's return quiet. When his music hit I shocked and amazed, and I am not a huge Cena fan. The look on HHH face was priceless, you almost believed he had no idea, almost.

While it was cool to be surprised ( not the kind of surprise we got when Piper and Snuka came to the ring ), I was very disapointed that we are apparently going to be force fed Cena again for the immediate future. I got real tired of him being champ. Looks like he will once again hoist the belt at WM.

I see them figuring out a way to get HHH involved in this and HHH win the title.

Oh and that Piper/Snuka thing was rediculous. Man Piper is out of shape.

Cena always winning/defending the belt is what made me stop watching WWE, I started to get back into it when he got hurt, now it looks as if I maybe fiinding something else to watch pretty soon.

Personally I am ready for HHH to hold the title again, and for Cena to get his chance to show if he can carry a feud w/ Trips.

I just downloaded the Rumble and watched it...the initial reaction to Cena coming in was huge, but once it was down to Cena/HHH it sounded like the fans were pulling more for Triple H. Or was I just hearing things wrong?

No you weren't hearing things. When Cena's music hit the crowd went crazy and then 1/2 the crowd turned on him.

I think the reason Cena gets such a push is because there is always a reaction to him. The reaction varies from city to city and sometimes minute to minute. The crowd during a Cena match is usually crazier then any other match. Half for Cena Half for whomever we is wrestling. Love him or hate him the crowd is always really vocal anytime Cena is around, which always keeps his spots entertaining. Unlike many of the other guys.

Just look at RAW last night for proof of that.

PhillyFan was booing Cena with a vengeance, for the most part, when he came out and for a decent part of his promo. When Orton came out,the allegiance shifted to Cena.

before the rumble started my bro told me how he felt the internet has hurt WWE cause there are no more suprises. Then when Cena came out at 30 we coulden't believe it laughed at what he said just a few hours earlier. I give them credit for hiding his return. But I hate how fast he is going to be champ again. And u know it's gonna be another long title reign.

I think it is funny how people, myself included, hate long title reigns. But back in the day wasn't Hogan champ from like 84-88 and nobody complained.

take the credit back, theyre hotshotting Cena vs Orton now, most likely leading to Cena vs HHH at Wrestlemania which is so dumb. Wrestlemania is usually the time the fans get a payoff for a long face run. Unless they keep the belt on Orton and give Jeff Hardy the shot at WM, this whole Jeff Hardy push will have been a waste

I hate Cena to no end, but was happy the outcome was unpredictable. I'm always wanting to see an unexpected winner. The WWE has done a good job in recent years with winners like Rey Mysterio, Undertaker, and now an assumed to be inactive Cena. I'm still waiting for the likes of a Stevie Richards to win it, that would be so cool!
