I want these last 2 hours of my life back

I know its a lead up to the Royal Rumble, but, this is so pathetic

- Jimmy jang wang or whatever his name is, has fought against the SAME oppent for the last 3 weeks. Wheter its tag team or solo

- I like how there was no commentary from the Columbo so called match.

- Ummm, what happened in the Kahli match? No pin no submission

God, this is not making me wanna make sure I waste 50 bucks on the pay per view sunday

I stopped watching Smackdown a long time ago, and I haven't watched RAW for quite a while. I'll check in once and a while but the story lines have become so stagnant that it's just become boring.

I actually watched Smackdown this week for the first time in forever. I will admitt it wasn't anything great, but I did not turn the channel like I so often do after five minutes of viewing.

I only tape RAW and fast forward though all the garbage on tuesday. i never watch smackdown or ECW and i don't buy the pay per views. RAW is the only good program and the pay per views are not worth the money.

Well I guess I never learn, I watched smackdown for the first time since I started this thread tonight.

The only match I did not predict the winner as soon soon as they started was that goofy double pin from Finlay and MVP. Talk about a job match with Tommy dreamer vs Big Show.

Technically Bautista won the finale which I figured but I also figured Edge was gonna do something.

I started this thread in January. I really havent watched it since and I decided for the hell of it, to check it out again tonight, and again, I wish I had the 2 hours of my life back.

just go to a wrestling website like wrestlezone.com and you can find out everything about smackdown on wednesday. Smackdown is pre-recorded on tuesday so you can always find out what happens. I hate smack down.. I watch RAW and have always loved wrestling ever since my childhood but smackdown is such a bore. I always look at the spoilers for the week and decide if i want to watch it or not.

They tried having 3 viable shows per week, but there just isn't enough of a mkt for that. Or WWE mgt is moronic. I don't know?

Either way, pro-wrestling is always better when there is competition. the WWF was at it's finest when they were clawing their way back to beat WCW. Anyone remember when the whole "attitude" era kicked off? The WWF/E was at its' best when they literally had 20 wrestlers on the payroll (because they were struggling) and a 1 hour show.

Stone Cold, Undertaker, Shamrock, Mankind, The Rock, Kane (w/ mask), Badass Billy Gun etc... Those were the glory days IMO. Every monday night was like a pay per view.

The worst thing that could have happened to wrestling was for one man to buy out all the big franchises. WWF was at it's absolute pinnacle of quality when WCW was still winning the ratings battle.

All we're left with now is a battle between PPV revenue vs. TV ratings. And so long as the ratings stay high on TV, you're still going to have to pay out the ass to see any title changes. It's crap.

Even on Raw, all you get is the obligitory "2 contenders vs. 2 contenders" meaningless tag team match. If you're lucky you'll get a steel cage match or a royal rumble style match. But it's a guarantee that no title is goign to change hands on Raw.

McMahon hasn't learned from the past. Remember when Hogan held the title for ever and he like didn't even appear on their weekly shows all the time? That's a recipe for failure. It's too damn predictable to be worth watching these days.

The coup the Rock put on Mankind, that was good TV. This is just crap lately.
