BUFFALO, N.Y. -A joint Buffalo Bills and McDonald's promotion helped provide a financial boost to the Ronald McDonald House of Buffalo this past season. Area McDonald's franchisees have donated $4800 to the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House as a result of a promotion they conducted with the Bills during the 2007-08 season.

Western New York area McDonald's restaurant operators donated $100.00 whenever place kicker Rian Lindell made a successful field goal or extra point. Lindell kicked 24 extra points and 24 field goals during the season, raising $4,800 for the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House. Each donation was announced on the Ralph Wilson Stadium Video Board after each successful attempt.

"McDonald's has a long history of being a good community partner," said Lori Tschohl of the Buffalo area McDonald's Owner/operator association, who owns and operates three McDonald's restaurants in the Buffalo area; "What better way to raise money for a great organization and have some fun, all at the same time?"P
