Stastny to miss 3 weeks

Sakic and Smyth are out, and now Stastny will miss 2-3 weeks...sucks to be you BR.

Paul Stastny will miss up to 3 weeks after having his apendix removed. Stastny will have to miss his first All-star game as well. T.J. Hensick was called up to replace him.

I want to see how the Avs will deal with Sakic, Smyth and Stastny being out.

You're team is just about to end a 10 game winless streak. It sucks more to be you I think, they'll deal, and wont lose 10 in a row with their 3 top players out. Bank it.

It's actually not that bad to be an Avs fan right about now. Stastny will be back in a couple weeks so that's not too bad but this team is playing well now and Theodore is finding his game. As long as Theodore can stay hot and our young guys continue playing well this team can still stay on top of the Northwest till the big guys come back.
