Not enough people are talking about Crable. I think he'd be great for us because he also rushes the passer so well. I don't think Davis lasts til our 2nd rd. pick, but I'd love it.

I really like Crable but I think Merk and others see him better suited for playing LB in a 3-4. I could see a role for him in the Bills D as a pass rushing specialist at DE and a Run stuffing specialist at Will. He does not have the experience in coverage to be an everydown LB in our system.

I do love what he brings to a team though and he would instantly be a leader on special teams. He was like another coach on the field for Michigan. He is one of those guys I would like to see the Bills take, even though he is not a perfect system fit.

kelly is going to be interesting.

his stock is going to be very dependant on the combine.

i don't know if anyone will consider hima top 15.

i think we may end up doing some maneuvering into the late first for one of the wr's.

4- Charles Godfrey, Iowa, CB, 6-1 208 4.35

Godfrey is a great pick. I just don't see him lasting this long. Early 3rd maybe.

I see the Bills addresing WR in FA. I think they target DT or CB in the 1st.

The Bills swing a draft trade with the Dallas Cowboys and tradeThe Bills first round pick (#11) for
Dallas's 1st and 2nd this year and 3rd and 4th next year
(570 points for 360 points this year and 160 + 58 points next year)

This gives the Bills picks:
1st round #22 overall
2nd round #43 and #54
3rd round #72 and #74

they then trade their first 3rd round pick(from Balt) and use it to trade their
2nd round pick up into the 1st round.

they then have two picks in the first (#22 and #25), one in the second (54) and
one in the third(#75). (plus their 4th & higher round picks)

With these picks they take

#22 Malcolm Kelly WR Oklahoma.......the big WR to complement Evans
#25 Kentwan Balmer 6-5 295 North Carolina.......a fast penetrating DT
#54 Martellus Bennete TE Texas A&M
and
#74 either a CB (patrick lee 6-2 200 Auburn/Terell thomas 6-0 USC) or
......Eric Young OG 6-4 305 Tenneseee (OG or C)
#107 Vince Hall LB virginia tech 5-11 240 or Branden Albert OG 6-6, 335 Virginia

An improvement to the receiving corp with a good 2nd (1st?) WR and a TE.
An improvement to the defense with a DT to replace Triplet in the rotation and a big CB
and a good OG/C or LB depth.

They also stockpile two pcks for next year. With other activity, they also pick up a 3rd/conditional 2nd round pick for JP Losman for next year. Next year they will have a
one #1, two #2's two #3's and two #4's to play with.
