We need some big-time help in the passing game and while I think we should fill that need in one of the first two rounds. There are some quality late-round WRs that we could pick up in the 6th or 7th and take a shot at. They could be good special-teamers or possibly, with time, grow into valuable parts of the offense.
James Banks, WR, Carson-Newman (6-2 1/2, 212, 4.60)
Biggest pro: Combination of size and acrobatic athleticism
Biggest con: Baggage (24-year-old was released by Tennessee due to academic and disciplinary issues)
Draft projection: Seventh round or free agent
His biggest problem seems to be attitude, but if he proves to be beyond that in an interview then he could be a late-round guy.
Mario Urrutia, WR, Louisville (6-5 1/2, 218, 4.65)
Biggest pro: Size
Biggest con: Separation skills
Draft projection: Fourth or fifth round
Not a speedster, but that's why we have Evans. His size would be a great compliment.
