#11. Buffalo Bills: Keith Rivers, OLB, USC
I thought about this the entire week. I've had the Bills taking Malcolm Kelly for a while now because at 6-4, 217, he's the perfect complement to the lightning-quick Lee Evans. Trent Edwards needs a better No. 2 receiver than Peerless Price, Roscoe Parrish and Josh Reed.

#41. Buffalo Bills: James Hardy, WR, Indiana
Because this draft class could be one of the best the NFL has ever seen, the Bills can draft someone like Keith Rivers or Vernon Gholston in Round 1, and still obtain a top-notch wide out like James Hardy, Devin Thomas or Limas Sweed in Round 2. Hardy's size is the perfect complement to Lee Evans' speed.

#71. Buffalo Bills: Jermichael Finley, TE, Texas
The good news is Kevin Everett will be able to walk again and lead a normal life. The bad news is that the Bills need a tight end in the wake of his life-threatening injury.

#72. Buffalo Bills: Steve Justice, C, Wake Forest
The Bills need help with their interior offensive front, and Steve Justice is probably the best inside lineman in this draft class.

* I really like this mock, I would be quite happy if the first 3 rounds turned out this way. I've been really high on Jermichael Finley, I think he could be a real steal for the Bills. James Hardy or Limus Sweed would be fine by me, with the 2nd pick, personally I would take Sweed over Hardy. Sweed has done it against far better competition and he's got better hands, but I wouldn't complain if we landed either guy, with the 2nd pick. This scenario for the Bills, would improve their red zone offense by 200%. Hardy is 6-7 220 lbs. and Finley is 6-5 240 lbs. and can run a 4.6 forty!! Check out the video on youtube of this Finley kid, he may be a TE, but he runs and catches the ball like a WR. I ranked this kid as the #2 overall TE in this draft class, behind only Fred Davis of USC.

I would be a very happy Bills fan with that draft.

just read this draft myself and have to say, that I would be thrilled if this is the way it all played out. I know a lot of people love Hardy (including myself) and getting him in round 2 would be fantastic. Rivers would give us one heck on a LB core, and the addition of a TE and C add to much needed positions.
If this was truly our draft, our goal in FA would be to land a BIG DT, and some depth at CB. Now that would be an offseason I can live with!

They have the Bills taking Rivers one pick over Sedrick Ellis? I don't think so.

If Ellis is there, he needs to be taken over just about anyone else available.

I watched a few clips of him last night, he's about as close to Warren Sapp as you're going to get, and guys like that don't come around every year. He's extremely light on his feet.

But then, I doubt he falls below Cinci. I hope he does.

Who is Jermichael Finley, I didn't see him in any of Merk's players that he has profiles for.

Awesome draft!

If Ellis fell to the Raven's at 8, I'd give them one of our thirds (which would be funny b/c we got one of them from the ravens) to jump over cincy and take Ellis.

Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to change them once in a while, anyways. :FBH:

My draft is:

Connor, Kelly/Hardy, Carlson.

Can I get a count of the guys who think Rivers is better than Conners?

And I agree, If Ellis is on the board, I'd take him, But will he be the next Broderick Bunkley?

Op, I just saw the video IM SOLD!

Good

Debate fuels this place

So whats your case for wanting a TE over a DT in the third round

An interesting side note w/ this is that there are some who have S.Ellis ranked higher than G.Dorsey

I personally dont but a guy whos opinion I value a lot of draft stuff ,Gil Brandt, said he had Ellis slightly higher than Dorsey on his board

It really doesn't surprise me. Its not uncommon to find 2 studs at one position in a single draft.

You read alot about his strength, the 500+ bench press, the 42 reps at 225, the 200 lb. dumbells, but 2 things that really stick out for me on the guy...

1. he's got a fantastic 2nd gear. Not only can he get into the backfield, but he can shift gears going to the QB, and can pounce on him before he has a chance to roam from the pocket.

2. watch him after the play, he bounces around alot on his feet, like Warren Sapp, always on his toes. Most 300 lb guys are plodding, feet stamping, but not much for hopping. When you combine that with his leverage, strength and quickness, you can see why he can run down a RB or QB in the backfield.
