On paper Malcolm Kelly looks like a perfect fit for the Bills, I was very disappointed he did not play Wednesday in Sugar Bowl, I only saw two Oklahoma games all year and can't say I recall him off the top of my head. But he is looking like he's almost a lock for the Bills, the way Lynch and Evans were when the Bills drafted in approximately the same spot in their respective years. I know there is a huge need at DT and Ellis should be there also, but a WR with size, speed and hands is such a glaring need, how can they pass on it, at this spot?

I think Kelly will be the pick, but only because I feel Ellis will be gone ( to Cinnci ). If Ellis were there, I think you have to take him instead, and hope for Sweed to fall to us in the second. Ellis should have more of an impact his first year, than any WR would. For that reason, I would take Ellis over Kelly if he were there. Both positions are huge needs.

I wouldn't call Kelly a "lock". Hopefully they'll get a playmaking WR with that pick, but I don't think we'll know who the best wr in the draft is going to be until after the combine.
If someone like Hardy or Sweed runs really well, they could vault up the boards.

If we don't address WR by trade or free agency could we trade down and still likely find ourselves in a position to draft Kelly?

I can't believe he didn't play because of a bruised thigh. Thats all we need is another weak player. I still have him as #2 behind Hardy but that excuse for missing a game is pathetic.
