There HAVE GOT to be doubters coming out of the woodwork now.
Anytime anyone lists the best coaches in College someone always mentions Stoops.... how long does that keep up.
Twice in a row, big favorite and they choke... and this time they're getting reemed.

How many points did WVU score against Pitt a month ago? 9?
Nice defense, Oky.

WVU must really be kicking themselves. That loss was a major fluke.

How many Big games is that that Stoops has lost ?
WVU 2008 Fiesta Bowl
Boise 2007 Fiesta Bowl
USC 2004
Kansas State in the Big 12 championship Game 2003
LSu thats same year in Sugar Bowl I think...
Bob Stoops IS NOT a big time head coach.

He coulda had the ranch, the city, and the mayor's wife if he had left a few years ago for some of the jobs he was rumored to be a candidate for (college and NFL).
Now, he could probably still have the ranch.......but only as a rental.

Georgia could be preseason #1 next season.
They were loaded with freshmen and sophomores this season. And they were one of the best team's in the nation by the end of the season (even before the Hawaii game).
Also, Texas Tech returns 18 starters from a pretty good team.
Doesn't OSU play USC next season? Wow.

dude, look at Ohio States schedules for the next few years...
http://www.mililanibuckeye.net/future-schedules.html
Home and home with USC, Miami(FL) Cal, VaTech, and Oklahoma over the next 10 years
Last 2 years its was Texas... this is really the only season we haven't played a tough OOC opponent early..and when we scheduled Washington they were pretty good.

Speaking of future schedules, check out Cuse in 2011:
2011
at Boston College
at Virginia Tech
vs. Wake Forest
vs. Cincinnati
at Connecticut
at Louisville
vs. Rutgers
at Pittsburgh
vs. South Florida
at Southern California
vs. West Virginia
If they still suck in 2011...that could be the most lopsided season ever.
If they still have Greg Robinson, they will still suck in 2011.
Meh.

Bob Stoops is a great coach. One of the best in the nation. He's struggled in his bowl games the last few years but so did Tom Osborne for a lot of years. Then he collected 3 National Titles in his last 4 years in Lincoln. It goes in cycles. He couldn't lose a big game for a while. You have to remember most of his best coaches have left in the last few years too. That doesn't help.
If OSU loses I think maybe we could say the same about your boy P.

Maybe... but losing to Boise State and losing to Florida are 2 completely different things.

Really hasnt been the same since his Brother Mike left his DC post for Arizona a couple years back
Of course w/ the way things are going in Arizona he'll prob be able to hire him back real soon

Stoops is better when he goes in as the underdog, for some reason.

Boise State would have beat Ohio State last year.
Not if they played in the regular season probably, but in the bowl game.

Hell my former high school would have beaten Ohio State the way they played in that bowl game last year.
Mangino left as well. OU has been raped of their coaching staff since they started dominating.

Bob Stoops can come to Tucson and take over for his Brother as head coach. I nor anyother Wildcat football fan i know would be against that.
