The blueprint followed today most resembles that of what Hitler and Benito did, although other dictators saw how effective it was and refined it over the years. In the case of the neoconservative movement, they are incorporating vast aspects of the Adolf/Benito methodology to the point where in some speeches pretty much only the details have been replaced.

Hence the moniker fascism for neoconservatism is appropriate and will continue.

I think you could argue that only the US won that war. Everyone else had their countries destroyed and we had a nice 10 year span of being the only industrialized country in the world.
