The nation's No. 1 high school football prospect as ranked by Rivals.com - Jeanntte, Pa., quarterback Terrelle Pryor - apparently knew before most that West Virginia coach Rich Rodriguez was headed to Michigan as the Wolverines' new coach.
"Add Michigan to my list," said Pryor early Sunday afternoon. "Rich Rod is headed to Michigan. I just spoke to him earlier this morning and he told me he's gone. I don't know when it will be announced, but it could be as early as today."
Pryor, who has been interested in West Virginia because its wide-open offense mirrors his own at Jeannette, seemed excited about the news.
"He's excited and so was I," said Pryor. "Michigan was on my early list, and now their right up there again. He's a great coach and I like his offense."
Rodriguez apparently informed Pryor before alerting most others, gauging the QBs interest in joining him at his new school.
"He called me this morning and told me before he announced to anyone," said Pryor. "He said he's keeping the same offense that he had at West Virginia because it's all he knows. I love that offense. I told him I was very interested."

Look for Mallet to transfer. My dream is coming true, Michigan heading towards a spread run/pass option offense.

Oh it will be so funny when they start pounding OSU next year.
Maybe my Irish can win more than 3 games too :)

But it will take them at least a season to get it going the way it should.
They don't have those kind of athletes right now, do they?

If Terelle Pryor wants to be a winning College QB in a spread option offense he can go to Michigan with Rodriguez and do that.... Ohio State doesn't need him, he's welcome if he wants to come along, but our success is never hinged on one player....expecially before he's in Columbus.
If Terelle Pryor want to play for the more talented team, with the best OL recruits in possibly the nation, and a killer stable of RB's and WR's, and a monster TE.... and learn how to be a Quarterback, instead of a running back, he should come to Ohio State....
Its up to him...no sweat off our balls.

Nah... i want Pryor... but its not like he'll start here right away. He might in Michigan....
The point is, in Michigan, running RichRods Offense he'll be a great spread option QB, he'll play right away (Mallett is as good as gone... he'd look good in Scarlet and Gray after Boeckman leaves) and he'll win alot of games...
But does Pryor want to be a good college QB and play 3rd or 4th WR in the NFL or does he want to be a dynamic NFL QB? Thats what he has to decide...
Rodriguez doesn't prepare QB's to play in the pros.

Looks like a big ripple effect if Pryor goes to Michigan.
Parkersburg, W.Va., five-star prospect Josh Jenkins told us later in the day that Calvin Magee and Tony Gibson were also heading to Ann Arbor. Jenkins told us that he like Pryor will check into Michigan now.
We also spoke to Strongsville, Ohio wide receiver D.J. Woods father Derrick tells us that S&C Mike Barwis is also headed to Michigan and D.J. is now a soft commit to the Mountaineers

Wow. Big Blue is going to be stacked.
Going to be fun for me going to Ann Arbor the next few years watching them play.

Ah here's to watching Ohio State get embarrassed for a long time.

Toney Clemons can see it now. Terrelle Pryor drops back, sees Clemons open along the sideline and delivers a perfect strike for a long touchdown play.
And the Michigan crowd goes wild.
Clemons, a freshman wide receiver at Michigan and a Valley High School graduate, would like nothing more than to have Pryor, Jeannette's standout quarterback, join him in Wolverines blue and maize.
Besides, Pryor is Clemons' cousin. http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/sports/highschool/track/s_543828.html
