I agree except for the Wisconsin-Tennessee game. I'm not impressed with the Vols lately. And anything can happen given a month to prepare.

I can't see Michigan winning, but they haven't been healthy all year, which they will be when they play Florida.
You all slept on Wiscy last year too.
Explain to me how LSU and thier D that allows 25 pts a game is gonna blow us out?

LSU's defense is the most overrated thing I've ever seen.

Indeed.
Ohio State matches up well with LSU.

I wouldn't be real confident in a team (Wisconsin) that lost to Penn State by 31 points.

All win.
No arguement here. The Big Fraud will be exposed big time.

I'm just curious how anyone think Michigan losing to Florida or Wiscy losing to Tennesee somehow "exposes" the Big Ten?
Its obviously a down year for the Big Ten.... you all act like there is some sort of conspiracy you need to bring to light.... its a little weird.
how come nobody is concerned with "exposing" the ACC or the Big East which are far worse than the Big Ten and had teams in the title hunt as well?

Yup...oh...wait.
It amazing how people just believe what they want.

OSUs loss last year has a ton to do with the perception of the conference this year.
But so does their non-conference performance this season.
The Big 10 did not have even ONE signature win against a good non-conference DI-A school this season. Against other BCS conference teams (and ND), they were 9-4.
The nine wins were against:
Notre Dame (4x)
Syracuse (2x)
Pitt
Washington
Washington State
Their 4 losses were against:
Missouri
Oregon
Duke
Iowa State
If OSU does not win, the other two both better do so if they want to even begin to repair their perception.

Another thing that sucks is that the 3 high profile Big Ten teams in bowl are all playing, essentially, road games...
Michigan is playing Florida in Florida.
Illinois is playing USc in the Rose Bowl.
OSU is playing LSu in New Orleans.
Thats kinda bullshit.
Give us LSU @ Soldier Field, right in Big Ten country, on January 7th and we'll see how bad they really are.

That's something that's happened since Bowl games began.
Granted, they are all essentially in their own backyards, but the SEC plays its home games where the nation wants to travel to see bowl games. It's just the nature of the beast for teams from up north, unfortunately.
I do agree, though, that SEC teams would have a hard time in the snow and/or cold of the north if they had to go there every January.
On a side note.....I believe OSU is the "home" team for the title game. They were last year, too, but chose to wear road whites. I wonder if they'll go with red this year?

I'm not saying SEC teams would be incapacitated or anything... but they rarely leave thier area to play games.
The uniform color OSu chooses is a topic of discussion on a Buckeye board i frequent.... White didn't work last year obviously, but it did in 2002...
Personally I think we should wear white again...even though we're the "home team" we're on the road, close to LSU, AND the underdog. On top of that LSU usually wears thier whites at home if I remember correctly...make them wear that lame purple jersey.
At the end of the day, IMO, the jersey you wear is right after pregame warm-up music on the scale of importance in regards to prepping for this game. I don't think Uni's mean very much in a game of this magnitude.

I just read that your (OSU) defensive coordinator Jim Heacock won the Broyles Award, given annually to the nation's top assistant coach.
His stock just went up even higher.

I saw that too... personally I can't stand him. i don't think he's bad, but he's frustrating... I don't think he makes very good adjustments, and he's not aggressive enough.....
Fred Pagac was my favorite Dc we've had...but he's moved on to the pros... he called an aggressive D.
I personally think we have the talent in the defensive backfield to put our guys on an Island and blitz more... but we don't often.
