Hillary Clinton's prospects of capturing the Democratic Party's presidential nomination and going on to take the White House are "a lot less certain" than they used to be, a top political journalist says.

Noting that while Clinton would almost certainly be her party's nominee should she win the Iowa caucuses January 3, Mort Kondracke, executive editor of Capitol Hill's influential "Roll Call," wrote that it is now easy to see her losing that crucial first primary contest.

Christ jlb is this topic really worth a thread, or is it just another lame 'bash Hillary' thread.
Yeah, I thought so.

Of course she can lose the nomination, nothing has ever been set in stone, unless you're just one of those dumbasses who believes everything the MSM puts out there.

Joe Bidin is the man. Hillary is the front runner now but Bidin will win the nomination.

Wouldn't that be something. He's just way too far behind to make a comeback I think. I mean if he had had frontrunner numbers at some point I might be willing to entertain the idea of a comeback, but other than that I believe he's toast. Maybe going for VP???

I hope she loses the nomination of course.

But it's always looked like hers to lose.

She is very capable of doing so.

If she gets the nomination and eventually wins the Presidency I will support her.

I just hope people would be able to see through her bologna.

She hasn't done a ****ing thing for the State of New York.

She hasn't lifted a finger to help reinvigorate WNY especially.

In a nutshell she is my absolute last choice among all candidates running either party.

I'm not a super fan of Hillary's, I'd much rather have someone else (Wes Clark) running and winning. But I have to say one thing, the budget was balanced while Bill was president and that directly led to one of our nations greatest economic expansions ever.

The first Clinton administration raised taxes, something the R controlled congress went along with because they though it would doom Bill getting re-elected, and as a result the budget was balanced.

The republicans only talk about reducing the deficit , but they never do it. They give ridiculous unneeded tax breaks benefiting the very rich mostly, they expand the federal bureaucracies exponentially, and the national debt simply skyrockets under R administrations.

How anyone could trust the republicans on economic policies is beyond me.

So although Hillary is far too centrist for me, I could see how she could be a great president. She will make the tough choices that will be needed after 8 years of the neocon raping of the treasury. And she has worked well with and made friends with many in the senate on both sides of the aisle, which will allow the administration and congress to work together start to righting the ship.
