Mike Huckabee did well.

Paul won, followed by Huckabee and McCain.

Romney was beyond embarassing.

I think Huckabee won

Huckabee came across as real, confident, relaxed
Paul didn't get much time, but did fine
McCain was very solid
Romney was slightly better than Guiliani
Guiliani imo was bad
Thompson seems bored and/or lifeless
Tancredo & Hunter should drop out

I think Huckabee won

Huckabee came across as real, confident, relaxed ~ Don't trust him

Paul didn't get much time, but did fine ~ He got NO time
McCain was very solid ~ He's a jackass. He only opposes torture cause he's experienced it himself.
Romney was slightly better than Guiliani ~ Polygamist ass with a bad haircut. He looks like a middle aged has-been porn star.
Guiliani imo was bad ~ What can I say. He's an ass hole.
Thompson seems bored and/or lifeless ~ Thompson looked like the political class Bernie ala Weekend at Bernies. Except this corpse could speak.
Tancredo & Hunter should drop out ~ Ya think?

I liked Huckabee because he had reasonable answers and made the point that he has executive experience. He seemed less contrived than Guiliani and Romney. Paul seemed naive in some of his responses.

One thing I do like about McCain is that he has fought hard against pork spending for years. I'll give him credit on that. And I don't care why he is opposed to torture. That answer from Romney gives him a F-.

I especially loved the whole Romney and Guliani squaring off about who dislikes brown people the most.
I'm gonna vot for Paul but he didnt win the debate, they put a couple of his weakest issues in front of him at the start and although he handled them well he would have done much better with about any other questions for his first go. Huckabee did well and is probably the only other repub I would consider voting for but he is still far from Paul in my view.

Huckabee. He comes across as personable and articulate. Presidential elections are mostly about image.

Why do you suppose that is Tiger? Didn't used to be that way.

It probably changed as our primary media shifted from print, to radio, to television. Nowadays the internet is starting to change things, but the results are a little unclear as of yet. One thing is for sure though, Ron Paul would still be a nobody if it were not for the internet.

You can watch most of it here, and skip around to the issues.

It really says something when Ron Paul is BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS the most reasonable one of the bunch.

Do you guys realize how HORRIFYINGLY AWFUL the rest of those clowns are?

What is equally telling is that Ron Paul has no chance of winning the nomination.

No they don't. And the funny thing is that they don't realize that this isn't a choice.

I thought Huckabee won. He was the most poised anyway. He kinda has an "aww schucks" thing when he's putting someone down.

I thought Romney did terrible. I think Guiliani's "sanctuary mansion" thing threw him off.

Fred Thompson doesn't look like he'll even make it to the election, let alone survive a full term.

Paul did alright, but was given too few opportunities.

McCain won the immigration, torture debate hands down.

It wasn't even close.

Unless you just hate brown people and think that Jack Bauer is a real person.

for real

there isnt one of those guys besides paul i would want to vote for. the closest would be mccain who i like on most issues but i wouldnt vote for him now because hes pumped up the iraq debacle far too much. the rest of them are indeed horrifying. for once the dems appear to at least have a few decent candidates with only a couple id say were equally as bad as the republican clowns

Huckabee was impressive. He was well-spoken, seemed very confident and had some great answers.

I agree with that. I don't think ALL of the candidates were given equal opportunities. I thought Anderson Cooper's timing was a bit off, and kept going back to Romney and Guiliani.

Pimpin' Ron. Huckabee came off well, but he is a liberal/Neo-con in sheep's clothing. He would NEVER end the IRS, he's a tool and I can only prey everyone can see it.

Well it looks like Huckabee so far.
I'm not surprised it's pretty much what all the polls are saying.
