The Detroit fans in disgusted me, they booed the canadian national anthem!!!!! i have been too more than 60-70 sporting events here in toronto and i have never once heard the U.S. anthem being booed. All this following 4 canadian soldiers killed by friendly fire just a few days ago. disgusting!!!

As for the fiasco in Van last night, I think they heard what happened in Det and retalliated. Because of the time zone difference they would have heard about the Pistons fans booing Oh Canada. I do not know if it even happened in Vancouver, just speculating as to why.

It matters not. It is disrespectful to boo any country's anthem or flag or symbol of any kind.

PS, I think anyone who keeps their hat on during an anthem is showing just as much disrespect.

Yep. I am one of the only ones that holds my hand to my heart during the NA. WTF happened to patriotism?
