Another pitifull night. As I said after the Carolina game, we are not going to make the playoffs. We'll put on a rush after the allstar break, but, like before the lockout, it won't be enough.
BTW: Our most trade worthy assest is Brian Campbell. He is not worth the 5 million he is going to get at the deadline. I'll take Max at 3 million over Campbell at 5 million. We can get a 1st line center for 51, we can't get anywhere near that for 61.

Garth-
What deadline?
Regier and 51s agent have exchanged offers in the past month. A long term extension will be announced in the next couple of weeks.
Garth- have you heard anything more on Modano? What do you think about the Sabres looking at Jeff O'Neill for a much needed spark?
Thanks.

O'Neill is not the same guy he was in Raleigh. Not worth the headaches. He's skilled, but he's not a fit in Beefalo.
Modano is an interesting topic in some circles I spend time in.
He's a 4.25 guy and he has a lot of hockey left despite his 37 years.
He's achieved all that he can in Dallas/Minney, now might be a great time to try something new. His wife, Willa Ford, works a lot in NYC..
His agent is Ryan Miller's agent, Mike Liut.
I'm told that he likes the East because of the decrease in travel, unlike that of Dallas when team's are sitting in airports and hotels when they are not playing.
He's a Centre, a Hall Of Famer. He's won a Cup. He's worn a C....sounds like Drury, eh?
Stay tuned.
