I'm not going to look it up because it is far to depressing but I believe we are dead last. I have notice a trend in the NHL were teams go from 1st to worst. It usually occurs after a team has won the cup, example Carolina or goes to the cup ie Edmonton. This just seems like are down year, maybe a normal part of the cycle. Now I'm not saying give up on the year but darcy just doesn't do anything to shake up the team when we need it the most. Hang on for a rough year sabres fans ...

If you think this is rock bottom, wait until the Sabres play Montreal and Ottawa five straight times after tonight. It could get very ugly very quickly.

Yep...with the effort the Sabres have put up of late, they will have a hard time hanging with Mtl or Ott

Sabres are actually only the 3rd worst team right now. With Edmonton and Washington below them

Does anyone else want to tear their own eyeballs out of their sockets! I can't believe how most people just except losing. I gave myself over night to calm down, and you know what, IT DID'NT WORK! If Ryan Miller is anything like I think he is, and the signals are starting to come from him lately, I would not be so sure that Miller stays in Buffalo past his current agreement if management does not pull their heads out of their asses. Winning obviously means more to him than just the paycheck. More than I can for most of his team mates and all the Sabres management. Starting over every two years has to make Lindy sick to his stomach. You know what a couple years back Carolina management knew they were something short, they went out and got it and won a cup. Anaheim knew they were missing something two years ago, went out in the offseason last year and got it and won the cup. What are we supposed to do feel great about continually coming close, know what we are missing, but try and fill it with some cheap call up from Rochester AND LOSE AGAIN AND AGAIN. Ahh, **** this shit.

Signed,

One pissed off fan.

I remember when Lindy was hired, one of his lines was "Losing will not be tolerated in Buffalo." No wonder he's in a really bad mood these days.

Good points about the Hurricanes and the Ducks. Our best chance in a while was in the past 2 seasons.

What occured this summer should not have been accepted by anyone as easily as it was. This town deserves better than to buy up all tickets for a team only to have said team allow both of its best assets to walk away. That is an unprecedented move in the annals of pro sports.

They needed to sign Chris nothing against Danny.

But if you could have just one I would take Chris.
