I heard him do an interview on this show - his hiatus certainly didn't last very long...

I didn't think much of him on GR during his shows but his Sabres postgame's were a lot better than what we hear after every game now.

Yikes. He's been relegated to doing a blog? What a shame. Riter had no business ever losing his show on WGR. He was excellent. Notice how they've had an impossible time replacing him? Brad was integral.

No business losing his job????

People get fired when they constantly show up late or not at all.

Besides, I think they will replace him just fine. I know of one candidate that can so so very nicely.

Riter was an assclown.

The fact that he lost his job to tardiness was awesome.

He towed the company line harder than that lame-ass tow-truck commercial where it tows a C-130 aircraft.

Meh. Riter deserved amnesty for his greatness. I used to tune in regularly to listen to his show; since he was canned, I don't think I have at all.

Riter was excellent? Whoa there, C....The guy was hosting a show with about as much thought and enthusiasm as David Spade on downers. He sounded like he couldn't possibly care less about what he was doing. And like Dilbert said, unreliable employees get fired from their job. He's pretty easily replaced if you ask me...Its just a matter of giving the man that deserves it the job. Sal.

Riter was hilarious! He was the reason why I started listening to WGR.

Riter's sports knowledge combined with his sarcastic humor and constant '80s pop-culture references made him one hell of a radio host. I've missed him quite a bit.
