Favorite memory at a tailgate party...

What's your favorite tailgate party that you've been to and why?

I have the one where I went with my Dad and uncle to Rich stadium in the 70's. The atmosphere for a young kid probably wasn't the greatest as there was a lot of drinking, eating, yelling, footballs flying and grown men laughing...

Much like we do now.....


Another was at the Pinto against the Fish. Pinto Ron bought these large fish, dead, and had them at the bar. I went up, flopped one down on the ground and did a bowling ball shot followed by the customary dropping of the ball.....

The ball went down, hit the fish dead nuts, the fish went SPLAT, and its guts flew 15 feet in each direction landing on peoples shoes and pants. No one seemed to mind, they actually started cheering to do another one...and I did. Once that fish was gone we plopped another one down and the fun began all over.

We had a rental car and following the game we all piled in to get warm, it was December or so and cold. My boots smelled like fish, all of our boots did and when we turned on the heat it was enough to make you choke! We dropped the car off at the rental agency and didnt run the heat for fear of it stinking... I can only imagine what it smelled like when the next person rented it.

I was there sitting in the tunnel endzone that day. What an experience that was! I can't even discribe the feeling and emotions that we went through that day.

When some dude (chargers fan who drove from SD on his honeymoon) split his head open doing a keg stand and refused medical treatment.

It's gotta be two seasons ago when some drunken a-hole went after people in the parking lots with a chainsaw (cutting two people) and then an axe after people got the chainsaw away from him. It turned into a giant melee with cops in swat gear and girls getting punched in the face. Good stuff.

Jets game about 4 years ago. Temps in the teens and we had a TV running, gourmet food on the grill and an absolutely hot and cool group of chicks partying next to us.

College Football: Before the 2006 Ohio State Michigan game... atmospshere was electric, got really rowdy, just an all around amazing time.

Pro Football: My first pinto experiance is hard to top, but the Cleveland game last year was amazing... the weather, the yelling matches with the Browns fans... just a blast.
