Good for him. He will also be taking the Yanks hitting coach Kevin Long. As for Grady Little, he has been fired.

So, I wonder if Scott Proctor has crossed the border yet and claimed refugee status?

I have a feeling you just encountered your main competition for Mo Rivera.

Torre will turn the Dodgers around. Good move for them.

Best wishes, Joe. As a fan, Torre has meant as much to me as any Yankee, so seeing him manage LA is something I'll probably never adjust to. It's just a really unfortunate situation. He'll turn the Dodgers around.

Of the teams he could have went to the Sox or the Dodgers are probably the two biggest slaps in the face for Yankees fans. The Mets would be up there too.

He made a smart move though. LA will spend money and that's what you need to do to win. If you manage a team that doesn't spend most times you will look bad.
