I am amazed that there is not more outrage on these boards about this. FEMA sent out a media release, 17 MINUTES before the news conference. Obviously, reporters could not get there in time. So what did they do? They put their own media relations employees in the audience to ask questions. EVERY SINGLE question that was asked, was asked by a FEMA employee. What a joke and disgrace to this country, and the poeple that look to FEMA in the wake of a tragedy. Heads should roll for this act.

What's that big pyramid in their symbol all about? And those arrows? WTF are there arrows in their symbol?

Ever wonder what kind of sick joke the makers of these seals put into this stuff?

The pyramid is probably some masonic fag getting his twisted joke into the seal. The arrows? Probably a retired general wanting to paramilitarize the thing.

Based on the seal alone I don't like it.

Kill this agency off. We don't need it. It's all clear in the seal.

Pete, I am pretty sure the arrows, thirteen of them, are the symbol for the original thirteen colonies when a bald eagle has them in his talons.

Why not petunias? Why not roses or stalks of barley?

Why items symbolic of pillage, death, and destruction? For FEMA for God's sake.

The eagle holding, in one claw, thirteen arrows (our determination to fight to keep our freedom) and, in the other claw, an olive branch (symbolizing our desire to live in peace) is from the Great Seal of the United States of America.

Petunias?
