What a tool. If hes not whining for a trade hes running his mouth. Good attitude to have, I'd love to have him on my team....

I think Man-Ram might be retarded. And I'm not just saying that. I sort of believe it.

Who cares what he says? He's hitting something like .429 with 4 HR and 11 RBI in the postseason. If he was playing horrible and made those comments, I'd have concern if I was the Red Sox organization. However, he's had the best bat in their lineup, IMHO.

Has anyone heard the whole interview? I doubt it b/c that is the only part the media has played, there was also a point where Manny said he would give up all his records for another world series. Look I am not a Manny apologist by any means but it's the truth life goes on for the players regardless of what happens and it's not like he isn't producing at the plate, truth is most players in sports probably feel the same way b/c it is a job to them. In the end Manny shoud have worded it differently

Here are a few quotes from Manny Ramirez...

On the records he has set during this postseason: "It's good, but if I would known that I was going to be in the World Series and not have those records, I'd trade them in a heartbeat. Who cares about the records, man. We just want to go out, have fun and win."

On the ALCS, and being behind: "We've got a great team over here and the other side is playing great. They're pitching the way they should and they're coming through with big hits. What can you do? You just think about Thursday and you just try to come and play hard and have fun. It's not over yet."
