Well Rick, I love the people of WNY. Nicest, most genuine folk you'll ever meet. But here's the rub.

It's almost Oct, 2007. OK? We're going on 78 years since the anniversary of the Oct. 1929 depression and for some crazy reason Buffalo LOVES to re-enact that atmosphere every year since at least 1970.

Why's that?

I hope it all changes. Cause if the Bills move I stop being a fan of theirs. And that would suck.

Pete, been to the Southtowns lately? Orchard Park is doing great as is Hamburg. The population is 90% white families with a college or high school education. Im not being racist, just pointing out what I have seen, almost the opposite of Buffalo. Businesses are relocating out of the city.

Exactly. City politics are messed up beyond belief. But you need a healthy urban center to be considered a healthy metro area.

And those mooks in city hall, and all of their patronage mook'ees, just don't get it.

Some things may never change. LOVED Hamburg and Orchard Park and the southtowns. One thing I noticed right away was how clean it was, and how everyone kept their homes and yards up.
