Does anyone know why that is happening? Is it the only way to pad the pay-per-view by promoting a potential bloodfest of a match with HHH?
I've found myself watching less and less...

Guess you heard that Umaga will be facing Triple H at the "No Mercy" PPV on Oct 7.
No, he isn't coming back early. Oct 1 is the date the suspended wrestlers can come back so Umaga (and the rest of the suspended RAW wrestlers) will/could appear that evening on RAW - look for Umaga to get revenge on Triple H (afterall Triple HHH "put him out") by attacking him to set up their match at the PPV.

Par for the E....just give Wrestler A a hot shot storyline with no depth to it,attack Wrestler B and VOILA! Instant match.
At least they're trying to give some depth to the Cena/Orton match and making it matter.

Humm, theres no depth/storyline between Triple H and Umaga? Then I guess you forgot about the reason as to why Umaga is on the shelf then - Triple H nailing Umaga with some sledgehammer shots etc. Yeah its not a long term storyline like Cena-Orton is but for the time that they have - one TV show - having Umaga attack Triple H on Oct 1st is good enough IMO to set up a match for the PPV six days later.

Agreed. But quiz the average fan and he won't know that.
They're likely to think,"OMG! It's Umaga! And he's wailing on Trips!"
