Yeah, the bonus songs are supposed to include dragonforce, a whole bunch of European bands Ive never heard of, Fall of Troy, Senses Fail, Killswitch Engage, and The Bret Michaels Band. Ive beaten everything except Free Bird, Jordan and Six on expert. Once you get through Hangar 18 it becomes a breeze, I routinely 4 star it now

Same here, except it wasnt in career so I have to do it again.

For the hell of it I played Jordan, and failed and the beginning of the solo. Then tried again to hit the star powers. I only got about half a bar, and had to pull it way to early...but by just using two fingers back and forth with a fast double strum I managed to get past the hard part, I then failed pretty quickly after that.

After this cigarette, I'm gonna get a full bar and we'll see what happens.

I can pretty consistently get about 54% through Jordan. Can you play Six, something just clicked for me and I went from failing miserably at 5% to beating it easily (not doing well, but beating it)

Haha, yah same here. The first 5% was so intimidating that I never played it untill recently. And yah 54% is what I'm getting, I think I need more GH muscle, my hand is maxing out. I'll give it another go later.

Has anyone looked into the custom guitar hero games? I've been wanting to get one, but havent got around to it. A friend of mine bought one online, you may even be able to request a list of songs, but that might get pricey.

I was demonstratinga version of the song that my friend had on a custome guitar hero for ps2..and you dont have to buy them, just DL a torrent. I just Dl'ed a game called "metal concert" with nothing but Slayer, Anthrax, and two tiers of Iron maiden. I just have to burn it on a 'DVD-R.
then their a certain way you swap it from a GH2 disc on your modded ps2. Which is pretty much a ps2 with no top.

Their are ways to chart your own songs, but its complicated and i
didnt have the time to figure it out, so I Dl'ed pre existing games.

Oh and emo, the trick to beating him is to use your attack as he is getting his so he cant attack you. And to hope they give you the good attacks like the whammy bar and broken string

Somehow I managed to get past "mosh 1" of the slayer part without any starpower(didnt think it was possible) But couldnt finish the song b/c I think had to much adrenaline....I need a shower now.

Anyone get the 3 DLC songs yet. You get them for free (360 only) if you buy the soundtrack. The AFI song is pretty cool, the flyleaf one is terrible, and the Marilyn Manson one is insanely hard.

Also the next 3 DLC packs are going to be a foo fighters pack, a velvet revolver pack and the 3 boss battles

Anybody have the same experience on Cult of Personality that I did? Playing on expert I failed it a bunch of times, but then on my first pass i get 5 stars with a top streak of 302, along with another 200 note streak later in the song.

Since I last posted I beat the hard campaign, and am now stuck on all of the final tier. I did get 96% through Cliffs of Dover but Raining Blood gets me around 36% everytime

Wow I must suck I'm still on like my second day of playing it but I got stuck on the hard level of GH2! I can't remember the song but the hammer-ons and pull-offs kill me everytime and they dominate the middle of the song!!! are you serious? the wii has no save lag? wow i so wish i had that version lol. the PS2 one takes like 30 secs to save after i do a song or buy something, it really kills the flow of the game

I finally got the game today, got to the 7th session on hard finally failed my first song there. I thought this game was supposed to be harder? I was getting 92-98% on hard the whole time after not playing any guitar hero for 2 months.
