Those look like shit. Doesn't look like Campbell or Spacho. Unis look like shit...wrong socks, I think...yellow looks like its faded out :(

I was gonna say the same thing. I have a PS3, and I hope the game looks better than it does for the 360. Those screens are subpar.

Edit: Apparently the Sabres have the new streamlined jerseys on. They look like crap.

NHL 08 Skill Stick Tutorial....theres a new feature where your teammates deflect the puck into the net...and you can do a slap pass for a deflection...

yeah, Briere is pretty good, but Spacek and Campbell don't look close. They promised alot with NHL07, and it turned out it was 06 with new rosters. I have a feeling this is just going to be another ripoff. when you see videos like the upcoming crysis, you know they are capable of way more than the shit they keep regurgitating every year. Unless i hear different, i'm going to assume 08 is 07 with new rosters, and skip it this year.

there's nothing really wrong with it, but this isn't NHL94. in other words, there is no technical limitation for the faces to be so off, it's just laziness by the developers, which has been their M.O. for the past few years. For the past two years Miller hasn't even had a painted mask on the PC version. Definitely makes me worried for the rest of the game. NHL07 was litterally NHL06 with updated rosters. That's a total ripoff. At the very least they could update the graphics a little.

The reason the yellow looks faded because the game industry has this weird styleing effect where everything is shiny. So when the light hits it form different directions it reflects oddly. You'll notice it in madden also.

Umm...are you guys sure the yellow doesn't look right maybe because...it's GOLD? Am I the only one able to identify color here? They flat out put the WRONG color on. Not to mention the blue is too dark. Just bad.

I thought it was the Pens as well...the thing is, these close up screen shots don't capture the game and how it's actually played, just like madden, they're what can be lipstick on a pig.

No it won't all the sports games on the 360 run at 60 fps and the PS3 run at 30 fps..So it will run worse and look the same. Just wait until NHL2K8 comes out it has way better graphics.

Hopefully I'll have worked enough to buy a PS3 or 360 by then...I can see it now...improved fighting was much needed.

So far, he's right. NCAA runs at 30 fps on the ps3 and is terrible (I played it a few times and sold it on eBay) and Madden is also going to be at 30, which is very frustrating. Hopefully NHL 08 will be at 60 fps.

I cannot find a link anywhere but all EA Sports games are running at 30fps on PS3 and 60fps on 360 that is why at the E3 convention EA Sports only allowed the 360 to have playable demos of their games. This was according to G4 tv when they were broadcasting live from E3.They even asked the president of Sony of America about it and he beat around the bush with an answer. Il see if I can dig up the interview.

It doesn't matter whether a game runs at 30, 60, or 10000 frames per second; the human eye can only detect 30 FPS.

Those screens look pretty good. Just looking at the some of the pics in sigs, the blue looks like it pretty spot on.
