I just went down to Gamestop to preorder the game. The guy at the counter was telling me about some cool features like dynamic weather or something. Basically if I'm playing a game at Washington, if your console is online it'll check the current forecast there, if it's raining there, it's raining in the game.

I think that's pretty sweet.

Plus the new recruiting system, gang tackling.

just got done playing the demo on 360 for it...not impressed. Besides the pretty models, it's the same canned product EA made last year for the regular Xbox (and I can imagine the 360 too)

For as much hype as Madden 08 has, I'm willing to bet I'm going to be in for a let down. True Next Gen gaming my ass...

can you just get it through the online feature though? You have to order a memory stick? Why don't you just give them to me once you've loaded them?

Not sure, The last time i downloaded a roster file was a couple years ago for the PS2. I know psxsports.com used to have them for free to download but not so sure now. You can also try skimming through maddenforums.com and see if they have the files there or wait for someone to post them.

it's good, I think the player models look a little sloppy but I enjoy the game play, I like the snapshots taken very cool.

I was a little disappointed in the game. It has it's good points like the snapshots and the real time weather. I thought the game play is sluggish. It isn't unplayable, just not on the level of mlb 07 the show, which is a great game.

I have played two halves on the season i restarted, and so far I have returned 4 interceptions for touchdowns, and have accounted for 9 turnovers in 2 games. But ints weren't ints that you wouldn't see, linebackers covering in flats making breaks, jamm oneal broke hard on two and had an alley, and used him 96 speed to tear down the field

not to mention the t.o.'s in the games against fsu and sc

I just played for about 30 minutes to get ready for when my rosters come in the mail on Wednesday (hopefully), and the graphics are stupendous for the ps3. The weather channel feature is really cool, too. I ran a couple offensive plays with USC, the first of which was a 55-yard TD. Not bad.

So far, so good. I'm excited to start a dynasty with the Trojans.

I dont' like the passing game that much, I thought ncaa 07 duid a great job with the passing game. this one is going to take some work to get used to as well, it could also be that osu's receivers arent' awesome. but the deep pass is not a given. not even close.

I know what you are saying about the turnovers. I'm using UB in my dynasty because of my insistence on using Buffalo teams in whatever video games they are in, and in my first season, in at least 10 of the 12 games I had a defensive touchdown,and their defense sucks.

I have played like 3 games over the course of a week owning the game. I've been bored with it and the passing is a joke. The turnovers are a joke as well. The game is not very good at all. Worst NCAA game I've played.

there are some serious flaws, my expectations were not met, not in the least.

1. the running game is awesome, the ability to juke, and string together moves makes the running game great, however, you fumble an awful lot, and they aren't even fumbles, if a player gets submarined and his shoulder hits the ground, and the ball comes out, that is NOT a fumble.

2. The running itself looks fake, like they are running on ice.

3. I hate the snow effects

4. in campus legend mode, playing fs, ss, or cb and getting to 5 star status is really quite hard. and then in practice, you don't get points for covering a guy, which you should. the point system needs to change next year.

that being said, I think this is a hiccup, ncaa 2007 was awesome, and I am guessing that this was the first next gen console game thing, I expect that the developers will correct the mistakes
