This geek got with the times and bought an 80GB white iPod.
Jesus I love it. Audio is incredible for the size. iTunes a piece of cake to use. Holds images, DVD's, other video.
Wow. Great job Jobs. LOL

Yeah. Well $320 or so I had other PC hardware that I wanted. Besides, my portable CD player was working fine.
This thing smokes it.

Do you guys use them in your cars, etc. ?
I'm not a big fan of the headphone thing while walking around in public. I try to discourage my kids from using theirs unless they're having quiet, alone time, as it really makes you appear unsociable/unapproachable, etc. My sister and brother-in-law are iPod junkies, so much so that nobody wants to hang with them.
Don't get me wrong, I think they're good things...I'm a gadget junkie myself. I just think you have to be careful about 'tuning out' because people will tend to tune you out if you do it too much/innapropriately.

Most of the time I just use it for the gym.
I have a radio transmitter thing so I can use it in the car, but I usually forget to bring my ipod when I go any where.
