Hilton opens up on drugs, jail and God

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- In her first interview since being released from jail, Paris Hilton told CNN's Larry King on Wednesday that she has never used drugs, isn't a big drinker, and although she feels her incarceration was unwarranted, God had a reason for putting her there.

"Don't serve the time; let the time serve you," Hilton said. "I have a new outlook on life."

Being incarcerated, Hilton said, provided "time to get to know myself" and she has emerged from the jail cell with a determination to eliminate the bad elements, and bad friends, from her life. She also promised King, "I'm just going to follow all the laws."

Exactly what I was going to post.... honestly, Paris Hilton is probably extremely stupid.

Who doesn't remember her in a room with a fat guy with a PILE of cocaine in fromt of them? Or what about this famous PAris quote.. "whos got the ****ING weed!!"

There is nothing more pathetic than someone who is ignorant, but also has had no real worries or responsibilities thier entire life... Shes a child. Children lie all the time...she probably never learned it was wrong because her parents went along with her lies her whole life.

Nobody would have served that full term if they were well behaved... i don't agree with celebs getting preferential treatment...but i don't agree with them getting harsher treatment either.

I am so relieved she appears to be getting her life back on track. I can't believe there are people out there worried about wars, illegal aliens, unemployment, the weather etc etc when this poor girl has so many problems. Maybe if we all stopped paying attention to those petty issues and focused on helping Paris heal her wounds, she would emerge from the clutches of the insidious forces that have driven her life off track. We must pray for her.
