Anyone heard the new album?

It's all instrumental.

It sounds a lot like the instrumental stuff on Ill Communication. I like it.

Yeah, it just came out yesterday.

I didn't even know about it until this morning when I randomly looked up the Beastie Boys on wikipedia.

Yep Joe, I have it and it's good. For about 5 years now, I've been thinking to myself "the Beastie Boys should do an instrumental album". I've always liked the music behind the lyrics, but the rapping sounds, well, to be politically incorrect, retarded. So low and behold, they DO come out with an instrumental allbum - I found out about it around the same day you did, and got a hold of it. I love this new album, but it would've been cool to have at least one MixMaster Mike instrumental songs on this one. In any event, it's what's been playing in my car for about a week now.
