Idk how many of you know who this kid is. ESPN ran a story about him a couple months ago, but basically he had consentual sex with a 15 year old when he was 17 and it was consentually recorded on video. He ended up getting 10 years in jail for it and has already served 2 of those years. The law that made it a felony has since been changed because of this particular case, but for some reason did not free him when it became official.

Only in america can a rich white woman like paris hilton drink and drive several times, and only get a slap in the hand, while a young black man, who might i add did not put anyones life in danger,l gets 10 years in prison.

**** lawyers and **** the judicial system.

Attourney General is Thurbert Baker, a Democrat that is one of the last vestiges of power that the Democrats have left in this state... He is lucky that he was just re-elected in Nov. 4 years from now the voters may not remember.

****ing bullshit.

Thanks to the appeal, Genarlow Wilson is still behind bars. This is such a load of crap. The kid did nothing wrong to begin with and he's still not free even when a judge frees him.

ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- A judge on Monday threw out the 10-year sentence against a 21-year-old for a consensual sex encounter he had as a teenager. But the state attorney general quickly filed a notice of appeal, keeping Genarlow Wilson in prison for the time being.

The prosecutor's move brought an abrupt halt to the jubilation Wilson's mother, Juannessa Bennett, and his attorney, B.J. Bernstein, were feeling, and the plans they were making for Bennett to be reunited with her son.

nehe, you're so silly. Don't you listen to anything C Darwin has been saying this week? Racism only matters when white people are being wronged.

Yes, let's generalize this to indict all of Georgia while we're at it! Whee! It'll be a reverse Marshawn Lynch mob!

I am so glad that justice has finally happened in this case. The state should at the very least expunge this from his record and pay his way to any public university in the state.

Thanks to Pete for suggesting writing these ****heads. It looks like the letters and donations helped justice to be served.
