Although, I'm not sure it's really SP without D'Arcy or James Iha.

The Pumpkins have returned... like your own rotten fart being fanned back into your face. I will say it does sound better than the ZWAN crap that Corgan was putting out. :niterider

Yeah downloaded it on itunes a few days ago, like it a lot more than zwan and his solo album.

But do agree its not really the pumpkins without james and darcy.

Now, growing up during the Pumpkins reign, I wasn't much of a fan for them at all...But like Nirvana, I have grown to appreciate their musical talents of REAL rock and roll. Not like the garbage today's "rock" bands pump through the airwaves. Oh how I miss the days turning on the radio and hearing Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, etc. That was real rock, and Tarantula has the real rock feel and sound. It may not be true Pumpkins (cuz if it were, it would be a little creepy) but when Corgon puts his mind to something and doesn't try and control it, it turns out to be gold.
