Iran is probably three to eight years away from producing a nuclear bomb if it so chooses, the head of the U.N.'s nuclear watchdog warned on Thursday.
Underlining what he said was the growing risk of a major confrontation with the West and Iran, International Atomic Energy Agency head Mohamed ElBaradei appealed for the two sides to restart negotiations on a compromise as soon as possible.

"I tend, based on our analysis, to agree with people like John Negroponte and the new director of the CIA, who are saying that even if Iran wanted to go for a nuclear weapon, it would not be before the end of this decade or sometime in the middle of the next decade. In other words three to eight years from now," ElBaradei told a news conference in Luxembourg.
"Iran needs to suspend its enrichment activities as a confidence-building measure but the international community should do its utmost to engage Iran in comprehensive dialogue," ElBaradei told a conference on nuclear non-proliferation.

if you think that sad sad ... Iran could have a nuke right now lol.. plus Russia WILL defend Iran if they are attacked so when you are ready to trade nukes with Russia by all means have at it. For us to think noone could ever put a real hurt on this nation will be why we get our ass kicked someday. Pride goes before a fall and were headed for a huge fall. Ohh yea noone caould ever defeat us LOL thats what Rome thought. How about the british empire look how much of a empire britan has left LOL.
but but we have to stop Iran lmao you blew the chance to stop Iran years ago...

HOOOOOOOORAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!
Lets bomb the brown ones into oblivion now. I mean they might have one in three years, then again they could be following an old Iranian ambition to have energy independence as seen in the posted ad from 1974. Sorry but I will not buy the "But they want WMD pack of bullshit." Remember folks there is a saying in Missouri, and it might also be in Texas and Tennessee, (unlike the President, I know this saying) but "Fool me once shame on you; Fool me twice shame on me." Sorry but the same steamy pile of bullshit that got us into a senseless, useless, and endless war in Iraq is being smelled again.
Lets see what we have
1) Iran wants to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth (yes Hal Lindsey, John Hagee, Pat Robertson etal... does want Israel to be wiped off the map, but please find me one middle eastern state other than Israel that does not harbor some type of resentment towards the Jewish state)
2) Iran wants to acquire and is working to acquire WMDs (ha, this is true but it is a dangerous neighborhood and they would not probably use them and after Iraq II when madman Saddam didn't use them I have no reason to believe that Iran will either)
3) Iran is a threat to its neighbors (yeah, but they've never really done anything to their neighbors except embrace a different sect of Islam)
4) Iran oppresses women and minorities (yeah, but except for Turkey and Qatar name an Islamic state that doesn't treat women as second class citizens, as for minorities well not really true)
5) Their people want freedom and democracy (yeah, but on their terms and developed on their own. You see us invading Iran incites their nationalism and weakens the elements in Iran that want democracy and no they won't greet us as liberators either)
6) They are violating UN declarations (yeah and so are we, then again we are only mad because they are ignoring the UN decrees that we drafted)
7) They are a threat to global security (maybe, but we are certainly a worse threat)
8) They are helping Al Qaeda in Iraq. Really I thought they'd at least fund insurgent groups like Al Sadr who -you know have like similar religious beliefs.
9) After the next false flag operation: Iran (pick one)
1. Attacked American forces in Iraq
2. Attacked the fleet in the gulf
3. Attacked an American city
4. Blew up an American ship
5. Used a nooklur weapon.
