I'm proud of these guys. I know the shot totals will say otherwise, but I think Buffalo outplayed the Senators tonight and deserved to win. Take away that two-minute sequence of Ottawa goals, and it was pure Sabres domination.

Props to the penalty kill, which has murdered 14 straight Ottawa PPs, and Ryan Miller. Great effort all-around.

Agree and don't look now but the final PP at the end of the game was probably our best 5 on 4 PP of this series. A little confidence does this team wonders.

I thought you were a realist Connoly. They scored three goals and weathered the storm and it almost cost them. Good job picking up the win but to win the series it will take more of an effort than that.

Not so sure we did that bro, we played scared after that ottawa goal, did we not?

I mean the first 35 minutes of the game we were running 'em, just like we we're supposed to.

But, unlike other games in this series, we did catch some good bounces.

The rifle is confident the universe will be on our side again in game 5.

Yeah, you could sense the pucker factor after that two minute storm in the second, but towards the end I thought the Sabres regained their composure.
It's something to build on.
