I think the two guys that I thought showed the most frustration in game three are having hangovers in game four... Vanek and Soupy are not playing well today.

Briere has been almost invisible thus far. Yes he has an assist but still, not playing like a 5 million dollar man.

The Sabres are still going to take this one, boys.

Yea, but thats nothing new, outside a lucky bounce in game two, he's been invisible for some time now.

Great pass by Briere to set up the second goal, so that statement is false. He put it right on Afinogenov's stick.

If the Sabres take this one, and take the next one at home, then by god they are taking the series.

I must have edited while you were posting as I realized he did set up Max's goal.
Still, where has he been? I expect more than 1 quality shift/game from him. And through 2 that's what we have.
Third should be exciting. I have a feeling/hope/pray they are gonna hold this lead.

I can't watch, it's the 3rd period, we're only up by a goal, but I can't watch.
Seriously, this team is giving me an ulcer.
It's probably better this way.
It's been my experience the Sabres and the Bills win when I don't watch them on TV.
All the games I've attended at HSBC they've won too.
So, if the Sabres win this game I promise not to watch anymore of this years playoff games on TV and I'll try to attended as many home games as possible.
I don't have a lucky rabbits foot so this is the best I can do on the superstition tip.

I thought Soupy played well.

Soupy Played Well? You really think so? Just my opinion, but I really didn't think he played well at all. Had a chance to clear the puck out in front of our own net leading to Ottawa's second goal, later took a bad penalty, not the Soupy I am accustomed to.

Yeah I thought that was one of Campbell's weaker games in the playoffs.

I thought Campbell kind of sucked too, but I think he played over 30 minutes. Ruff saw something he liked in his play tonight.

His ice-time was probably a big factor. Most of his glaring errors were later on in the game, when he might've been fatigued. Between Spacek and Kalinin, it's almost like last year's ECF, playing with 2/3 of an NHL defensive corps.

Im just happy as hell that we played like we know how tonight and bring it home to HSBC on Saturday.. Win on Saturday and anything can happen in this series, but we need Soupy and Vanek to be better on Saturday.

Winning Game 6 in Ottawa would be very very tough. Getting there won't be easy either.

That place better be loud as hell Saturday afternoon, I would have rather it been a night game... Perhaps there can be some early tailgating for the early start like a Michigan-Ohio State game here in Columbus! KEGS AND EGGS!
