WASHINGTON -- A group of Republican lawmakers warned President George W. Bush this week at a private White House meeting that conditions in Iraq must improve quickly or he will lose more support from his own party, The New York Times reported on Wednesday.

Good for them, and I think they are telling the truth here. Lets face it if the American people shifted left this term because of Iraq, among other things, and the GOP knows that many of their jobs are on the line. Too bad they couldn't have taken a stand to help the cause of pulling our troops out of Iraq.

The GOP knows what's at risk their jobs are always on the line.
Dems jobs are also on the line or at least they should be.
