Does anyone know if this series will be carried on CTV or CBLT? Or is it all limited to TSN? I can't take these Versus announcers for 4 (or more) games! They $uck!!!!! I'm desperately hoping that since we're playing a Canadian ream, it'll be on hockey night in Canada! Local fans, forget the turn on the radio thing... that is a desperation measure since I've never been a big Rick Jennerette fan either. That is the final option.

I kind of like watching the Hockey Night in Canada broadcast, they're not nearly as annoying as NBC's people are. The Versus guys are kind of annoying, but not half as bad as NBC. I like the Hockey Night in Canada picture better than Versus gets for some reason. The trouble is that WGR will sync up with Versus or NBC, not Hockey Night in Canada. Oh well.

CBC's coverage won't have as many gimmicks as NBC or VS, but their staff has a lot of hockey knowledge. You'll also get a healthy dose of Ron McLean, Don Cherry on Coach's Corner, and Kelly Hrudey on Behind the Mask.
What some people may complain about is the potential announcing tandem. There's always the accusation that Bob Cole and Harry Neale are past their prime, and that they have a bias for the Leafs (in this case, that they'll have a bias for the Sens). I doubt CBC will give this game to Jim Hughson and Greg Millen because of the seniority.
The odd thing is that TSN is still carrying the Red Wings-Ducks series. Usually by Conference finals, CBC gets both series. It was one reason why I was hoping the Sens would lose: TSN would have covered the Sabres-Devils series.

Pretty much everything for sports is moving away from CBC. CBC's lucky if they can hold on to coach's corner. The CFL is going to be 100% TSN starting next year, and any games shown on a public channel will be CTV. It'll be the first Grey Cup not available on CBC.
TSN is also Canada's Olympics broadcaster now.
