Ticket Office Slow This Round?

For those of you with season tickets...

I received my Conference Finals and Cup Finals tickets pretty quick. They were sent priority mail, with the letter saying if you ordered extra tickets that they would come separate. You received a call if you did NOT get tickets last set, and I did not receive a call and got my tickets for round 1,2. I've asked around and none of my friends have heard a thing or gotten tickets.

The game is thurs... how are people suposed to sell or promise their tickets to people if they have no clue if they got them? Also they have been having problems with credit cards. My sister's card went over the limit so they called her and she gave them another card. Well they keep having problems and said it was denied. My sister called the card and they said she had plenty of money and no idea why it didn't go through. Now she might be screwed out of her tickets because the Sabres ticket office can't handle this.

Anyone else with some insight?

I just got my tickets for rounds 3 and 4 today. They called us yesterday morning saying my sisters credit card got denied too... We had to call back and use a different card. But everything got straightened out.

Now I just have to wait until thursday :)

I got my regular seats last week. I have heard nothing about the extras. My cc has not been charged, but a co-worker got a "loser" letter today and I did not.

Who knows? I also looked at my online account and it only has two seats listed though.

a loser letter? whats that? I got mine yesterday.. However, as a mini-pack holder who sat in the same seats for every game I went too(10) plus the playoffs I was shocked to see I was given different seats.. I"m just happy to be in the building now

Hmm, I called the Sabres and they told me I DIDN'T get my extra seats. But my sister called back and gave my mom's CC number. Hopefully she won't get screwed. I never got a "loser" letter.

Same thing happened last round, told me I didn't get them yet they showed up in the mail. I have my fingers crossed cause I promised them to my friend in Cali who got me hooked on hockey.

Last year I sat in totally different seats than my mini pack for rounds 1,2. And then someone bought my seat right from under me for season tickets! SO I moved over one seat. No big deal...

What I am grumpy about is that I called the second I got my letter for extra tickets in the mail and got screwed out of one extra seat. It was weighted on your account number (lower number, better chance) and if you got tickets last round. Nothing again mini pack people, because I have been one in the past... but I am pissed as a STH that I got screwed over. I bought Rounds 1,2 so my odds were better for 3,4 and I have nada. Blah.

That expains why I likely did nto get them. I am a new season ticket holder (this year) and did have them last round.

That should not have been a factor. Last round was first come first served, so the process was different. Had I known it would have negatively impacted this round,I might have passed on the first two.

And no, I am not tempting. I already have people calling, e-mailing, etc looking for seats.

I think they just pulled people's account numbers out of their asses, because people near me who have had tickets for 10 years didn't get extras for 1,2 and I did. I thought my odds were better because I have only one seat in my name. I've been on the waiting list to buy at least 1 or 2 more seats for a total of 3 since October.

It was first come first serve before. For 3,4 I have NO clue!

As for 1and 2, ther accoutn should not have helped. In theory I have no problem with that being the basis, but taking into account whether or not you got them before sucks.

i'll just go down there sat night and get a scalped ticket for $40 again
