Look at the size of this beast... Reagan Mauia out of Hawaii... Round 6.

Running through the wall isnt that hard... I could do it. But still, look at the size of him! He is huge. Should really be able to clear some lanes for Ronnie and Booker...

A couple of years ago... he was a 350lbs NT. Now he is a 272lbs beast of a FB... nicknamed "Juggernaut"...

I think he ran between the studs... and thats why it broke like that. The outside view and inside view are 2 different times incidents, as you can see that the wall is all torn up on the inside view... but not the outside view.

Either way... running through the dry wall isnt a big deal... I just wanted to show the size of the guy... he is a monster...

the wall is clearly cut. You can see the outline of the door before he ran through it. and the wall is only wall board.he is big though for a FB.

I liked him alot in college. He'll be popular in Miami, like Brandon Jacobs is in NY.

Hey Fin, Ive asked the dolphin fans down here the same question. Its been bugging me since yesterday.

You have Ronnie Brown, sammy morris, and possibly Ricky williams. Why in the world would you spend TWO draft picks on RB.

I know I shouldnt include Ricky cuz he's as good as gone.

And give me a better argumant than the guy is a FB cuz then dont draft Booker.

If he was a real stud he would have ran thru the wall studs not just the 1/4" plasterboard...

He is about as talented as that punt/kick returner that you guys took at #9 that would have been available in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Spend TWO picks on RB? We didnt spend 2 picks on RB? What do you mean give you a better argument than that the guy is a FB?

Um... the guy is a FB???

Ginn available in the 2nd/3rd round?? lol

He was a projected mid-first round pick...

And Adam Schefter on NFLN reported that Houston was going to take Ginn at 10.

Dont get me wrong... I think he was a little reach because of his injury... no doubt. I would have liked them to trade down to the mid-first and grab him... but they tried and couldnt. Thats why they took every second of their clock.

Running into 1/4" plasterboard is about equal to running into Tim Anderson, no?

You know you had a heck of a draft when your getting excited over a FB

What? You cant be excited for almost all of your draft picks?

Did you honestly like your draft??

FinNasty

Did you honestly like your draft??

yes... very much so.

I loved Rds 2-7. We got good value and quality with those picks.

The Ginn pick I'm not thrilled about... but I can live with it. I would have prefered Carriker or Willis here... but Ginn does add some serious explosiveness to our offense... and that is apparently what the Fins org. wanted to focus on.

I would have loved the pick if we had traded down to around 15 and got him... because the injury worries me a little with a top 10 pick. But we will see. IMO, Ginn's success all depends on how effectively and creatively Cameron uses him. If he tries to use him as a conventional WR, Ginn will be a bust. If he moves him all around the field and designs plays to get him in the open field, he will be great. Basically, they need to use him like Reggie Bush was used last year, minus the carries... although, I think he should take a sweep or two...

I guess you've never seen dry wall before or how easy it is to break through. He is a good player though, I've seen him play and should be a very good blocker for you guys, it's just too bad that you guys pasted on Brady Quinn, you might have been a real threat this year. Cam Cameron really blew it big time.

I said a bunch of times that I dont think going through dry wall is hard... ;)

Glad you liked him though!

Oh, and dont worry about Quinn. Apparently we werent the only ones that wernt too high on him...

Well its not like the Texans (Schaub), 49ers (Smith), Bills (Losman), Rams (Bulger), Panthers (Delhomme), Packers (Favre/Rodgers), Broncos (Cutler), Bengals (Palmer), Titans (Young), Giants (Manning), or Jaguars (Leftwich/Garrard) were exactly looking at QB as a big need...

The Vikings, Panthers and Jags could definatly be contenders for a franchise QB...

However, none of them felt he was one... and neither did the Fins...

I'd cross the Vikings off that list

They like Jackson a lot and moved up in the second to get him

Despite what the media said I dont think they ever considered Quinn at all

I know they never considered Quinn... but thats because I dont think they ever thought of him as a franchise QB. If they really thought he was a franchise QB, I dont think they would have passed on him, because I dont think they actually believe Jackson is a franchise QB. They might like him, and like his potential... but they cant actually believe that he is a "franchise" QB...

I completely disagree w/ that

If they didnt they would have took Quinn or another QB. They wouldnt invest there time in him if they didnt think he could be a franchise QB

There HC is really high on him and so are a lot of other people including Phil Simms who wouldnt shut up about him before the 06 draft
