Info from the site I use for my fantasy football information. This guy is actually local (Rochester) but is one of the 2 that started the World Championship of FF a few years back. Their draft is in Vegas and it's a 4-figure buy-in.

I guess we'll see how accurate his sources are in a couple hours...
* Titans land RB Michael Turner *
Draft Sharks released an exclusive via email overnight Friday that the deal is "in place" for Tennessee to acquire Chargers RB Michael Turner. "They've reached an agreement," our source says, "it's going down before [the draft]." Exact terms are still sketchy. Now we're told Tennessee gives San Diego a 2nd- and 4th-rounder and swap their 19th pick - not just giving it away - for the Chargers' 30th pick. The money is believed to include around $14 million guaranteed.

If it's true, AJ Smith has done it again. Why does anyone trade picks to him? GMs should just run the other way.

I think its probably true. The guaranteed money sounds about right (I expect 6yrs/$36M with around $12-14M guaranteed). In terms of trade value, the Chargers are essentially getting the value of 2 high 2nds, or perhaps even a 1st and a 3rd...about what they wanted.

NFL Network's Adam S. just verified there is a good "offer on the table" from the Titans. He also said that the Chargers were still "shopping him".
Guess we'll see pretty soon....
Side note... AJ has done some pretty decent wheeling n dealing starting from the Eli/Breese trade. I think the Ralph missed the boat letting him get away...

Way to give up on LenDale White after one season.... wasn't he an early second round pick for them last year?

If that is true, here's what the value chart says:
875 (#19) + 400 (#50) + 64 (#115) - 620 (#30) = 719 (#25)
That would equate to pick Nr. 25 given up by the Titans. Pretty high if you ask me.
However, the opinion seems to be that there isn't much first round talent in this draft. I think Peter King mentioned an NFL scout told him his team only gave about 18 players a first round grade.
If the Titans don't see any interesting player dropping to them at #19, the swap of #19 and #30 might not hurt them as much as the value chart would indicate.

If they think highly of Turner, and if money isn't an issue, giving up the #25 for him is okay. What doesn't make sense for me, though: why didn't they just resign Henry then?

LenDale White is a joke. They are stupid for drafting him in the first place.

Yup. They probably raped themselves more by taking him in the second than they did giving up the equivalent of a first for Turner.

Tenn drafts Chris Henry. Looks like AJ's plan backfired.
