Judge Meathead has Stayed his Decision

on friday april 27 at 1:20 PM the honorable judge meathead rendered the following decision:

the rangers realize 0-2 will be close to a death nell for them so expect to see a highly inspired team. they will leave it all on the ice and come out with a hard fought victory, something like 3-2

after further deliberation the judge has decided to ammend his ruling

pursuant to statute 2177b of the uniform hockey gods code judge meathead has determined that the

and thus are not subject to the terms of the original verdict

furthermore judge meathead recognizes that the sabres followed his third period instruction to the letter when he directed them as follows:

weve all seen the sabres turn it on this year so we know they can do it

so just do it

in lieu of this judge meathead has formally declared

and as such is granted relief from having to lose a game in ny in order that the judge can attend game five. although not a formal requirement, judge meathead has advised that in the interest of premeditated sweepage the sabres attempt to win the next two games

so has ruled judge meathead, so it shall be

can the rangers play any better?

i mean they were real good in the first still quite good in the second and clearly controlling play

when they took the lead with that late 2nd per crusher it felt like a probable game killer

how do the sabres respond? by coming right out in the 3rd and popping one right back in. speaking of a crusher, that goal was even more painful than the last one the rangers scored. first of all it was a terrible clearing play from behind the ranger net. and second it was an absurd tip in off the blade of drury's stick three feet in the air on a shot that was going ten feet wide. unreal

im sure the rangers were still confident then but when stafford dropped a john havlicek pass to vanek for the slam it had to feel like a kick in the gut

i dont know if it propels them to a cup but it sure is a championship type win that opens a gaping wound on the rangers. it aint over but have the defibrillator on standby
