If there is an unbelievable talent who drops to us at 43 (Steve Smith and Zach Miller come to mind, I'm sure there are others), I won't be the least upset if we pass on Pittman or Irons to take that player. If Leonard is there, on the other hand and we pass, that'll p+ss me off.

I'd have no problem with not selecting a back on day one, if better talent is available in rounds 1, 2 and 3.

I'd like to believe that the 2nd round pick is a guy that they are targeting to be a starter this year or soon. If they feel that none of the available RBs will be more than part-time players, then definately go another route.

I believe that they have to get a LB #1 because of the steep drop off at that position. Best player available in
rounds 2 on. I think there is a good chance the best player available in round 2 will be either a CB or WR. (Though, I'd prefer the CB).

The guy from Ohio State (Pittman) is a keeper but may require a second round pick. He will have a role even if we wait until next year for a franshise RB. If we go lower then the 2nd round, we should make more than one low draft pick on RB to be sure of having something adequate in the backfield this year.

Moreover, 1968, if we go that route the Bills will likely draft a RB very high next year. But it may play out that way.

No problem waiting. Sometimes the later guys run with a little more hunger.

For me it was either Willis or a trade down to get 2 players instead of one. But I don't think that I'm making lemonade out of lemons to say that drafting Lynch (who looks like a Thurman Thomas clone) is a bad thing. Hope he makes the pro bowl as a rookie!

Well, looks like we got a good one. With Willis gone, I have no complaints here.
